Welcome to St. Andrews...

… where a landmark regeneration scheme will transform a redundant hospital into a new community of high quality new homes. The redevelopment of the site is central to regenerating the Thames Gateway area and is a key preparation for the 2012 Olympic Games. As such, Communities and Local Government and the London Thames Gateway Development Corporation have played a key role in bringing the plan to fruition.

On the 9th October 2008 the London Borough of Tower Hamlets granted planning consent for the St. Andrews regeneration scheme. The two applications that were given planning consent were:

1. Outline permission for the whole site.
   
   
2. Detailed permission for Phase 1 (Block A), which is located in the Southwest corner of the site.
